CHIROPRACTIC TREATMENT:
The doctor of chiropractic is a specialist in spinal musculoskeletal disorders. He or she is expertly trained to diagnose and treat the many musculoskeletal injuries that may occur on the job or in your daily life.
Upon injury, the individual often alters the normal position or flexibility of the spinal vertebrae. Chiropractic treatment is designed to restore normal alignment and thus minimize pain and suffering. Gentile manipulative therapy or “adjustment” is often effective in rapidly returning the injured person to a productive status. The doctor of chiropractic can also provide guidance with advice designed to reduce work-related injuries, proper lifting procedures and therapeutic stretching exercises.
Dr. Clasquin uses mainly Diversified adjusting technique (by hand) and occasionally the Activator adjusting technique (by instrument). He adjusts the spine as well as extremities (wrists, ankles, feet, shoulders, ....) and the TMJ, which is the jaw.
PHYSICAL THERAPY:
Our office offers interferential electric stimulation, therapeutic ultrasound, hot steam pack therapy, cryotherapy (ice), stretch and strength training, and more. Dr. Clasquin also uses acupressure for the relief of sinus pain and headaches.
We offer posture analysis as well as ergonomics (posture of your work station).
CUSTOM-MADE FOOT ORTHOTICS:
We utilize a digital scanner to capture an accurate reading of your feet and the software reveals any abnormalities you may have. We can then show how, with the use of orthotics, we can improve your stability and balance and end your foot and low back pain. The scan is then electronically sent to the manufacturer and custom -made orthotics come back in as little as 5 days.
